Three security zones and traffic restrictions will be put into place by the City of Cannes: see the plan
Because the planes will be flying over the water in the Baie de la Croisette, a maritime regulations plan has been prepared by the prefectural authorities specifically for this event.
Accordingly, navigation (including arrivals at and departures from the Vieux Port and Port Canto) and bathing will be prohibited in the Baie de la Croisette on 20, 21 and 22 April from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., as indicated by the red zone below.
This plan also provides a regulated navigation zone around the bay. This means that in the area shaded in dark blue, navigation is restricted to 3 knots and mooring is prohibited.
Mooring is permitted outside these areas.
The ferries to îles Sainte Marguerite and Saint Honorat will be temporarily transferred to Port de Golfe-Juan.
